Dan Frees

CFO

As the Chief Financial Officer at Dover Fueling Solutions® (DFS), Dan Frees is responsible for financial stewardship and supporting the business to make sound fiscal decisions. Tactically, Dan leads regional and business unit finance, controllership and FP&A.

Dan brings approximately 20 years of experience in accounting and finance and prior to joining the DFS team in 2023, Dan served as Chief Financial Officer of Colder Products Company (CPC), a fast-growing component manufacturer and operating company of parent company, Dover. Dan led all functions of finance, IT/Digital, and compliance and served as a business partner to drive significant top-line growth, +100% in 4-years. Prior to CPC, Dan has broad experience in financial planning & analysis, both commercial and operations finance, and foundation in audit spanning diversified industrials including Dover Corporation, Johnson Controls, and KPMG LLP in corporate, divisional and business unit capacities.

He holds a Bachelor’s degree from Miami University and an MBA from the University of Michigan and is both a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA).
