  • BP Moorebank Selects Wayne Fuel Dispensers for Brand-new Service Station in Australia | DoverFuelingSolution

< Back CASE STUDY BP Moorebank Selects Wayne Fuel Dispensers for Brand-new Service Station in Australia AT A GLANCE Customer Name Pump Group (in partnership with Ozzbuild for construction) Location Moorebank NSW, Australia Challenge To create a brand-new service station with state-of-the-art technology and equipment, with an emphasis on “creating a vibe” for consumers. Solution Wayne Helix® 6000 II fuel dispensers and Wayne Helix® 6000 II B2B AdBlue® dispensers. Results A one-stop shop service station, which is bright and colourful with a great overall offering for consumers. Prmary Choice Factor After conducting some research, Pump Group found Wayne fuel dispensers were quieter, required less maintenance (due to low total cost of ownership), and had a much faster flow rate overall when compared with other fuel dispensers available on the market. Nick Talevski, Managing Director of Pump Group, acquired the Leasehold of the BP Moorebank site when the Simonetta family, which owned and operated Food Lover’s, approached him to assist in the redevelopment of the site for service station and fast-food uses. As BP Moorebank was Pump Group's third site, they were relatively new to the service station industry. The initial plan for this site was to go the “extra mile” — both internally and externally — for motorists by incorporating state-of-the-art design, technology, and equipment. The original site accommodated a retail bulky goods building, which was demolished to make way for the brand-new BP service station and two QSR’s. After conducting some research, Pump Group found Wayne® fuel dispensers were quieter, required less maintenance (due to low total cost of ownership), and had a much faster flow rate overall — in particular at the outset of filling — when compared with other dispensers available on the market. In addition, Pump Group already had a positive experience with Wayne® fuel dispensers at their BP Yagoona site, as part of a site upgrade due to the ever-increasing maintenance needs of previous equipment (Gallagher dispensers). After experiencing the capabilities of Wayne® fuel dispensers first-hand in Yagoona, it was a no brainer that Pump Group invested in Wayne Helix® 6000 II fuel dispensers for their BP Moorebank service station in NSW. “Customers have been blown away by the new site. From start to finish, Paula Correa, DFS Regional Sales Manager and crew were fantastic to deal with. Paula was also present on day one of trading and I really respected that. Communication was always there, and it is always thorough throughout the entire project. Pump Group will definitely look to use DFS dispensers when the next service station project comes up", said Nick Talevski, Managing Director, Pump Group. https://www.doverfuelingsolutions.com/products/fuel-dispensers https://www.doverfuelingsolutions.com/contact-us

  • LC3 Trasporti Install LIQAL BTU System in Italy | DoverFuelingSolution

< Back CASE STUDY LC3 Trasporti Install LIQAL BTU System in Italy AT A GLANCE Customer Name LC3 Trasporti Location Piacenza, Italy Challenge To improve the liquified natural gas (LNG) refueling performance on site and efficiently control the LNG fuel station’s Boil Off Gas (BOG) inside the storage tank. To progress the LNG station, there were several challenges LC3 wanted to address, these included; high pressure in the LNG tank due to BOG, ineffective heat management of LNG on site, challenges with refueling of LNG trucks (due to high tank pressure). In addition, LC3 wanted to increase the volume of Bio-LNG delivered from the station. Solution The installation of the LIQAL Boil-off Gas Treatment Unit (BTU) system via SGIG. Results Tank pressure is now under control and at low total cost of ownership (TCO), resulting in smooth and efficient truck refueling operations on site. LC3 can now provide a unified refueling experience at their LNG station. With the LIQAL BTU System tank pressure is under control, meaning truck drivers can refuel their LNG vehicle smoothly and consistently. In addition, logistics are easier to manage, as there is no need to arrange offloading to reduce tank pressure. The installation of the LIQAL BTU system also allows the site to operate with a lower minimum level of LNG within the tank and with LIQAL BTU system, LC3 is now able to deliver 100% bio-LNG to trucks. Primary Choice Factors View that LIQAL I Dover Fueling Solutions® (DFS), together with Italian service provider SGIG, is a reliable and trusted supplier of premium micro-liquefaction solutions for the Italian market. Due to high pressure in the liquified natural gas (LNG) tank due to Boil Off Gas (BOG), ineffective heat management of LNG on site, challenges with refueling of LNG trucks (due to high tank pressure), as well as increasing the volume of Bio-LNG delivered from the station were all challenges the LC3 Trasporti encountered, until a decision was made to install the LIQAL Boil-off Gas Treatment Unit (BTU) system via SGIG, at their station in Piacenza, Italy. Taking that LIQAL I Dover Fueling Solutions® (DFS), together with Italian service provider SGIG, is a reliable and trusted supplier of premium micro-liquefaction solutions for the Italian market, LC3 Trasporti considered this to be a strong factor for going ahead with this project. We're so glad they did, because the results are exceptional... "Rising temperatures due to climate change affect the entire Mediterranean region and Italy, where we operate. This year, we also experienced record heatwaves, especially during the summer months. With the LIQAL BTU solution, we can now avoid the consequences of boil-off gas in our facility caused by excessive overheating, preventing the risk of any direct gas emissions into the atmosphere. We've had the new system in operation for months, even during hotter summer periods, and have not encountered any issues. In fact, we can completely eliminate the risk of overheating. Furthermore, we've conducted Bio-LNG refueling phases at 100% and can confirm that the system is functioning perfectly. We can be satisfied and proud of this partnership with LIQAL and Dover Fueling Solutions® for what we are accomplishing today and for what we can achieve in the future, soon reaching 100% Bio-LNG dispensing from our Piacenza facility thanks to this technology," added Michele Ambrogi, President of LC3 Trasporti. https://www.liqal.com/fueling-solutions/liquefaction/ https://www.doverfuelingsolutions.com/clean-energy

  • Hockenhull Garages, Ltd. Increases Convenience Store Traffic and Sales with T-Media™ by Dover Fueling Solutions® (DFS) | DoverFuelingSolution

< Back CASE STUDY Hockenhull Garages, Ltd. Increases Convenience Store Traffic and Sales with T-Media™ by Dover Fueling Solutions® (DFS) AT A GLANCE Customer Name Hockenhull Garages, Ltd. Location Leicestershire, England Challenge Generate in-store customer traffic and corresponding sales Solution Fuel dispensers equipped with the T-Media™ digital media solution from Dover Fueling Solutions® Results Increased retail traffic and profits Primary Choice Factor Dover Fueling Solutions’® reputation for quality equipment and innovation "Going forward, T-Media™ is definitely something we will incorporate with any future development or repump." - Joe Hockenhull Managing Director Retailers have long recognized the phenomena of impulse buying. It’s why checkout counters are packed full of inexpensive, but often highmargin items such as sweets, crisps, chewing gum and beverages. It’s also why counters and aisles are filled with static signs to point out bargains or high-margin goods. So, when Joe Hockenhull, Managing Director of Hockenhull Garages Ltd., was looking for ideas to increase store traffic, he turned to T-Media to capitalize on the phenomena of impulse buying. Hockenhull noted that while forecourt signage is good for driving store traffic, it’s expensive to produce and time-consuming to change out. Furthermore, it’s static and not compelling in terms of grabbing attention. He was also aware that customers spend three to four minutes refuelling, and typically spend this idle time watching the fuel being metered. He wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to engage customers and tap into their impulse buying tendencies, as well as remind them of actual needs that could be fulfilled within the store. The solution was to turn the fuel dispenser into a promotional powerhouse using T-Media™ by Dover Fueling Solutions® (DFS). Rather than static graphics that are easily ignored and expensive to use, T-Media™ features a high-resolution digital screen that commands a customer’s attention by displaying colorful text, images, video and sound. It serves as another way to leverage impulse buying and to drive store traffic. Hockenhull notes, “Customers typically stare at the meter ticking forward when they fill up. But, when there’s something in their peripheral vision, it can be very effective. Customers come in and say, ‘Oh, we just noticed such and such on your pump.’ They may not have noticed the product if they had just walked into the store.” Dover Fueling Solutions’® Product Manager Jenthe Govaerts, feels that in addition to driving store traffic, T-Media™ can be used to increase profits right on the forecourt. For example, T-Media™ can be used to upsell to higher-grade fuels — which have greater profit margins for the retailer — and advertise on-site services like car washes. T-Media™ also makes it easy to manage promotional messaging — including uploading and playing new content across individual pumps, a specific site, or an entire network — using simple drag-and-drop functionality in DFS’ secure, cloud-based web-tool. T-Media™ also allows owners to integrate the content on indoor screens with that on the Forecourt. The latter feature is an advantage offered only with T-Media™. The ability to synchronize inside and outside messages enhances their impact on motorists and thereby the potential for an increased spend. “T-Media™ is very effective and easy to use,” said Hockenhull. “It is a great tool for informing customers about promotions and new things coming to the site. Going forward, it’s definitely something we will incorporate with any future development or repump.” https://www.doverfuelingsolutions.com/consumer-experience-t-media https://www.doverfuelingsolutions.com/contact-us
